John Christian Love

The Story

John Christian Love is an American Actor and Filmmaker from Houston, TX. Starting at the age of 13, John found himself thrown into the world of entertainment — not knowing where to begin, often going down the hard road. Cattle calls, blind radio advertisements, money spent with nothing to show for it.

In middle school, John was heavily involved in Performing Arts and began competing in Speech & Debate. It was as a sophomore in high school when he found his first agent and started going on auditions. He performed plays at Houston’s Midtown Art Center, the University of Houston’s Wortham Theatre, and Tulane’s Lupin Theatre in New Orleans.

John got his start in television in 2009 after leaving college and moving to Austin, TX — landing a role as a featured football player on the critically acclaimed series Friday Night Lights, which later became a speaking role. Still not satisfied, he moved to New Mexico, booking roles in television and film while earning his Bachelor’s in Film. Then on to Los Angeles, where he became a recurring guest star on AMC’s Better Call Saul — 11 episodes across the first four seasons, playing Ernesto.

In early 2026, a candid post in an Amazon driver forum sparked a national press wave — covered by People, Entertainment Weekly, Page Six, Complex, The Independent, and dozens more. The story wasn’t polished. That’s why it landed. John had already left the job before the world found out.

Since then, John has returned to active development — with projects in production, a feature film credit in Lone Wolf (2025) opposite Bryan Cranston and Lily Gladstone, and a growing platform across Instagram and TikTok where he’s verified under @iamjohnchristianlove. The rest of the story is still being written.
